The project “Manga- zone for youth” will take place in Kobuleti, Georgia.
This youth exchange brings together 40 youngsters from 8 different countries Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Armenia, within diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Through the non-formal educational methods, a various number of activities and workshops participants have a stage to share their opinions and views about actual issues in their countries and all around Europe.
Organizing this project in frames of Erasmus + program helps all of the involved participants to participate more actively in EU society and express their own views publicly in a creative way.
Manga as a very popular Japanese comics, and have lots of followers, and millions of people are involved in the manga world.
The main objects of the project are;
-active citizenship and youth participation in the society;
– an action against youth marginalization;
-knowledge about Manga as a creative way of self- expression;
– studying the techniques and develop skills in creating Manga to reveal and combat different social and problematic issues of own society;
-work in the international environment and to enhance an intercultural awareness;
-support farther Erasmus plus youth mobility initiatives.
